Meet Jon and Gen
Thank you for visiting our website. We're Jonathan and Geneiveve and we are the owners of The Summer Wind beach retreat. Creating this special space, collecting the furnishings and spending many months painting, hammering, planning, drawing and scheming to design a place that we love coming home to was an important goal for us. Our goal was also to create a place where others would enjoy staying too.
Our Jersey Shore memories include family, friends, a little sunburn, a lot of music, boardwalk pizza and skeetball. Though we've been visiting the Shore since we were children, new memories are added to those childhood memories each time we visit and that's our goal for our guests.
As Tom Waits (and Bruce Springsteen who sang Tom's song) says, Down the Shore Everything's Alright. And it is.
